Description

When Parmigiani Fleurier launched the outstanding classic extra-thin Tonda 1950 watch in 2010, the intention was always for this model to house several new variations - including, of course, a women's version. The Tonda Metropolitaine embodies the stylistic essence of Parmigiani Fleurier, stripped down to just the brand's signature codes.
The Tonda Metropolitaine displays the hours and minutes from the center of the dial, while the seconds are placed at 6 o'clock.
The present example, reference PFC273-0063300-HC6121, features a stainless steel case, a mother-of-pearl dial and a leather strap by Hermes. The movement is automatic.

Movement

The Calibre PF310 is an automatic-winding mechanical movement whose dimensions (23.9 mm diameter) are perfectly suited to a woman's watch. The sheer excellence of its design is magnified by superb finishes, with bridges angled by hand and ?¡ãC?tes de Geneve?¡À decoration. Its two series-coupled barrels ensure 50 hours of autonomous operation. Its pendulum beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
