Description

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean reference 23230462101005 is a limited edition of 150 pieces created in 2014 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Panama Canal. It features a special engraved case back. The side of the case too features an engraving. It is based on the 23230462101003.

Movement

The in-house caliber 8500 was introduced in the 2007 De Ville Hour Vision. Its two barrels provide a total of 60 hours of power reserve. Version 8501, for use in gold watches, features a solid gold rotor.

Since 2015 certain watches containing this movement may carry the 'Master Co-Axial Chronometer' on the dial.
